Meet the face behind the posts

Hi, my name is Madison, but you can call me Maddy.  I am using this platform to demonstrate things I can accomplish with my skills I have sharpened as well as displaying my successes, failures, and lessons learned.

A little background on who I am and why this matters, I believe everyone has their own hike and there is no such thing as the same hike.  Sure one can walk the same hike as another but then there's a new footprint, a fallen leaf, or some other wildlife creatures roaming about.  This goes to show that the little details count in my mind, and that is something I try to create a visual of throughout my hike.

I graduated from Ferris State University in small town Big Rapids, MI.  The river ran through the town, you had the karaoke nights, and all of the small town gossip.  Our program was especially close and I made my lifelong friends through that program.  We may have been a smaller class (say 25 or so) but we were able to network and build our experiences larger than life.  One example of this; I worked for ESPN and Disney not once, not twice, but six times.  This includes a lead student role I took on to assist others joining the student program.  I was able to sharpen my skills and knowledge of being a leader as well as partake in something I was beyond passionate about.

Since then, I graduated with two degrees during the start of a pandemic, moved to Colorado to start my career with the company I work for out here in California currently.  I am in an admin role now learning the ropes of group sales and assisting with social media marketing at the same time.

I've always wanted to travel and now I am given the opportunity to do so with a company that hikes out west.  Feel free to join me in my adventures or contact me to learn more!
